Bell Tower to Host ‘Mullets & Mustaches Run’

About this event

WHAT: Bell Tower, a landmark shopping, dining and entertainment destination centrally located in Fort Myers, Florida (https://www.belltowerfl.com), invites the community to participate in “Mullets & Mustaches,” a race event that combines fitness and a lively post-race celebration to raise awareness for men’s health issues. The event will be held on Saturday, November 14th, beginning at 8 a.m. and features a chip-timed 5K, a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk, and a special-edition, chip-timed Pizza Mile, during which participants will eat a small slice of pizza, run a quarter-mile and repeat the challenge four times for a total of four slices and one mile. If the event raises $2,500 or more for men's health programs, organizers will also host a live post-race Beard & Mustache Shave. The event is free and open to spectators; runners must register to participate. Registration is $40 for the 5K and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk and $37.50 for the Pizza Mile; to pre-register, visit https://bit.ly/4xbBAqz. All race participants will receive a custom trucker hat or t-shirt, a mullet or mustache accessory, a commemorative finisher medal, and a complimentary slice of pizza (while supplies last). Following the races, participants and guests can continue the celebration at a post-race pizza party at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, which will offer pizza and drink specials throughout the day.
