About this event
Charlotte Harbor Preserve State Park is a 46,000-acre Florida State Park, composed of islands and land that surrounds Charlotte Harbor. It is part of the Southwest Florida Water Management District and protects the Gasparilla Sound/ Charlotte Harbor, Cape Haze, Matlacha Pass, and Pine Island Sound aquatic preserves. The Datsun Trail provides a different take on the uplands around Charlotte Harbor, the Old Datsun Trail shows how nature recovers from agriculture. Mike Stanfield is an excellent birder and was known as the "Plant Dude" along the Legacy Trail and in Mykka River St. Park so it should be an interesting walk. He also leads JayWatch in Charlotte County.
Listed by Peace River Audubon (Wix Events), gathered by the Cape Coral events calendar.
